- Once we schedule your job we are at the mercy of the weather. Rain, high winds, and/or low temps may cause a job to be rescheduled at a later date. But when we arrive we do the following:
Preparing the home for a low pressure rinse
- We make sure all gutters of roof sides that are being cleaned are cleared of debris, downspouts too.
- We then protect any plant life near the home.
- We then apply a commercial grade detergent and algicide cleaning solution to the surface of the roof. We then wait 20 to 30 minutes for the solution to completely kill all growth on the roof.
- We then rinse the roof with a low pressure nozzle thereby removing the dead plant life.
Protecting Plant Life
- We then inspect the roof. Additional treatments may be required. This usually depends on the amount and type of growth present on the roof.
- If the roof needs to be treated again we do so, and rinse again until the roof is clean.
- We then clean up and the process is finished.
